Helpful to know for families this summer 👇
The Government has announced a temporary VAT cut from 20% to 5% on eligible summer attractions, children’s meals and family activities from 25 June to 1 September.
This is expected to help reduce the cost of things like:
🎢 Admission tickets for adults and children to attractions like theme parks, fairs, zoos, museums, soft play centres, adventure parks and wildlife parks
🎭 Children’s tickets for cinemas, theatres, concerts, shows and exhibitions
🍽️ Children’s meals in restaurants and cafés
There will also be free bus travel for children aged 5 to 15 on participating local bus services across England throughout August, with unlimited journeys and no registration required.
